Caladesi Island Expedition

 Took the Huckleberry Too over to Caladesi to meet up with some of the kid's friends. Ridiculousness ensued...

 A few weeks ago, we got a break in the weather so we did some Tuggin' around the canal. Sawyer got a chance to steer for the first time, while Finn was just chilling in the front.

 Catching up from the last few months...

Christmas was fun. The annual boat parade got canceled, but The Grinch was sighted around the island. Grandma also got us an awesome Huckleberry Too ornament for the tree.

 Getting in the Christmas spirit...

 Made the neighborhood rounds. Blasted all Finn's friends with the cannon! Arghh!!!

 Numbers came in today. We're a real boat now. Took a family cruise! Sawyer wasn't having the pictures, but had fun. 

 

 

 

 

 Launched today. Apparently there is a tropical storm in the gulf, but we had a small weather window... or so we thought. JD came over with his jet ski trailer and was a huge help in getting the boat launched and the lift bunks set up.

 Done!

 Rub rails installed.

 Paint done! Need to run plumbing and electric, and install rub rail. Launch this weekend if possible!!!

 Busy day. Got A LOT done. Too tired to post too many pics, but heres a few. Still need to run electric and plumbing, but most of the rigging is otherwise done. Waking up at 5am. Offshore tomorrow.

 Disaster strikes. Attempt at non-skid was a mess. I think I used too much pumice, and it just clumped when rolling it on. Scraped everything off today, and plan to repaint tomorrow. Hope this doesn't delay the launch.

 Working on pirate skills. Building the rubrails... then enjoying a hard earned GROG!
