Getting in the Christmas spirit...

 Made the neighborhood rounds. Blasted all Finn's friends with the cannon! Arghh!!!

 Numbers came in today. We're a real boat now. Took a family cruise! Sawyer wasn't having the pictures, but had fun. 

 

 

 

 

 Launched today. Apparently there is a tropical storm in the gulf, but we had a small weather window... or so we thought. JD came over with his jet ski trailer and was a huge help in getting the boat launched and the lift bunks set up.

 Done!

 Rub rails installed.

 Paint done! Need to run plumbing and electric, and install rub rail. Launch this weekend if possible!!!

 Busy day. Got A LOT done. Too tired to post too many pics, but heres a few. Still need to run electric and plumbing, but most of the rigging is otherwise done. Waking up at 5am. Offshore tomorrow.

 Disaster strikes. Attempt at non-skid was a mess. I think I used too much pumice, and it just clumped when rolling it on. Scraped everything off today, and plan to repaint tomorrow. Hope this doesn't delay the launch.

 Titled and registered! Guess its a real boat now.

 Finishing up the water cannon mount. Still have a few coats of paint and some trim details. Hopefully rigging the boat by next week!

First coat of many. Hope I have enough paint. Its HOT painting in a closed garage in Florida during summer.

Almost done fairing...FINALLY! Hoping to start priming next week.

Weather is getting hot, and finding motivation to sand it difficult. Working on cleaning up edges of the cabin top.

And so it begins...

Water cannon mount in action. Took 3 days to get right, but I think it will work!

Cabin top was glassed in place last week. Fairing to start soon... but really don't want to. Took a slight detour this week to design the mount for the water cannon. It was a bit of trial and error, but think it works pretty good.

Also put together the "Jolly Roger" as Finn would say. After all, every pirate ship needs a flag!
